POP is a protocol used to retrieve email messages from an Internet email server. Generally, when you use POP is it best to use it from one particular computer. When you download your messages, the POP email server stores them for your later retrieval. If you go to another computer to connect and retrieve that same message, it will no longer be on the server.
You can also download a copy of new e-mail messages and not delete items from the POP3 e-mail server. This is useful if you check your POP3 account from a computer and wish to see those same messages in your inbox when offsite using Vazoom webmail. It's important to keep in mind that if you configure your email client (Outlook) to keep a copy of messages it downloads on the email server your account quota will continue to rise. Hitting your quota space limit can restrict messages functionality. You should occasionally log into webmail to clean up the account or change the Outlook settings to remove messages immediately from the server once downloaded.
If you’d like to setup POP on your Outlook account for your Vazoom hosted email:

a. Click More Settings
b. Click the Outgoing Server tab
c. Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
5) IMPORTANT! If you wish to keep messages on the server (Especially if you would like all messages to still be visible using webmail)you must click the Advanced tab in the window on your screen and select "Leave a copy of messages on server"
NOTICE! It has also come to our attention that many customers of Comcast cannot send email out using the default port of 25 that is defined in their Outlook setting for Outgoing Mail Server in the Advanced tab. This is a result of Comcast blocking a standard port to restrict customers who are attempting to run their own mail servers on a residential circuit connection. In order to avoid this problem Vazoom has setup a secondary port number. Customers must change the outgoing mail server port to 587 if a Test email fails to go through.
5) Click next and then finish
