Vazoom POP / IMAP and SMTP Mail Servers

To configure Microsoft Outlook for management of your Vazoom hosted email, you will need to provide information at some stages of the setup process.
Additionally, if you wish to configure smartphones including Apple, Blackberry, and Android mobile devices you will be required to have this information on hand before the configuration of your email will be complete.

During the configuration of both Outlook clients and mobile devices, there may be an option to use either POP or IMAP protocols.

POP is suggested for Outlook or Outlook Express clients whereas IMAP is suggested if you are going to use your mobile device.

If you are configuring a mobile Internet phone device the preferred protocol to use is IMAP.  IMAP offers two-way communication between your Vazoom hosted email and your mobile device. IMAP provides a better method to access your mail from multiple devices. If you check your email at work, on your mobile phone, and again at home, IMAP ensures that new mail is accessible from any device at any given time.  IMAP allows this through its two-way syncing capabilities between your mail clients and your Vazoom mail.

At some point during the setup process the following information may be requested.
